Hello again 240's!/Healthy You Challenge

I am finally starting my Healthy You Challenge (click and check out Scale Junkie's challenge).

My husband and I are following advice of a great couple we met in Boot Camp. Andrea and Kahlil shared with us that they usually weigh themselves on Mondays and Thursdays; pre and post weekend so they can keep a good track of how they are over the weekend. Manny and I thought that was a fabulous idea and we started that routine today.

I am proud to say that I have lost 7lbs from the 10 I've gained. I'm almost back to my lowest weight to date. At my last weigh in I was at 255. Today I weighed in at 248.4 (I've been updating my Weigh Ins page). Whoo hoo!! I have to give most of the credit to the ass kickings that I've been receiving at Boot Camp. The soreness and the pain have reflected on the scale today so I'll take it :)

  1. Hi Nery! Thanks again for visiting my blog and commenting! I just joined the Healthy You Challenge today so I'm looking forward to something else to keep up.

    I have my Weight Watchers weigh in on Mondays and weighing myself mid-week on Thursdays is a great idea. Then I know if I'm doing alright or if I need to step it up over the weekend before the next WW weigh-in.

    Good for you doing the boot camp! I did one last fall so I know just how intense they can be.

  2. Congratulations on your loss and good for you for doing boot camp! I can't handle the pressure, I'd probably break down and cry, but a 7lb loss is impressive!

  5. Congratulations, girlie! :) I am SO proud of you! Keep up the hard work at class (you didn't mention on here that on some days you've been doing 2 boot camp classes!!!) and the healthy eating. SUCCESS IS YOURS!!!

  7. That's a great tip! I'm probably going to start doing the same because I know weekends are tough and this way, it'll help keep me on better track!
