Yo-Yos are fun when you're young; learning how to play with them, mastering the ups and downs and eventually the tricks. As adults we relate yo-yos to life. Personally, I relate yo-yos to weight loss or the lack there off. Over the past couple of weeks I have been fluctuating within two to three pounds on the scale. A funny little thing happens when you start celebrating your success early, failure. Although I do not feel that I'm failing at my weight loss I do feel that I have been too relaxed at the process over the last couple of weeks. Just when you've found your groove at losing weight don't let the fat person inside of you convince you that your journey is over when it's not (my fat person's name is Kelly, but that's another thread)!
I am ready to buckle down and finish what I started. I'm so close to reaching an immediate goal yet far from reaching my ultimate goal. There is no time to waste. I have started logging in my meals again on Spark People and beefed up my intensity at Boot Camp. My next post will come soon and I will talk about how I hit my immediate goal. The yo-yos stop today. It's time to dig deep and get the job done. Want do it together? Join me at Boot Camp.
